Private household staffing

Reviews & discretion.

FDS does not publish a wall of identifiable client testimonials. In private household staffing, discretion matters. Assess us instead through our process, vetting boundaries, fees, terms and candidate evidence.

Discretion is part of private household staffing. Client identity is not used as a shortcut to credibility.

What should you make of limited public reviews?

Limited public reviews are not, by themselves, proof that an agency is good or bad. In private household staffing, some clients do not want their name, home, children, travel, routines or staffing arrangements used as marketing material.

Filipino Domestic Services therefore does not fill that gap with invented anonymous praise or celebrity name-dropping. Prospective clients should instead inspect what can be verified: how the agency takes a brief, what it says about candidate checks, who makes the hiring decision, how fees and terms work, and what support route exists after a placement.

We also do not publish placement longevity, success rates or outcome percentages unless the underlying data and methodology are documented. Confidentiality is not a licence to manufacture proof.

The current client terms contain an explicit confidentiality framework.

The current Filipino Domestic Services client terms state that information provided by either party, including personal details relating to the client, candidate or temporary worker, is treated as strictly confidential and is not disclosed to third parties unless required by law or regulation or permitted by the relevant prior written consent.

The terms also recognise that an introduction sometimes requires controlled sharing. They provide for specified client details to be shared with prospective candidates or temporary workers whom the client confirms they wish to meet or interview.

That is different from publishing a household's identity, testimonial or staffing history for marketing purposes.

What counts as a client outcome when the client stays private?

An outcome in the staffing process and a public testimonial about that outcome are different things. We can explain the milestones a household can verify in its own instruction without publishing who the client is.

Role clarityThe household reaches one current brief with clear duties, hours, location, working arrangement and genuine requirements.
Candidate decisionThe household can compare individuals against the same job using interviews, references and role-specific evidence rather than assumptions.
Agreed placementWhere both sides proceed, the final duties, gross pay, schedule and start arrangements reflect the role that was actually discussed.
Post-placement supportIf expectations change, the original brief gives the household and agency a factual reference point for onboarding, feedback or the applicable support route.

From our work

Discretion changes what trust evidence looks like in high-end private households.

Filipino Domestic Services works with private households, including high-end and high-profile clients. In that part of the market, asking a family to publish a named review can conflict with the reason they chose a specialist private-household service in the first place. The household may not want its identity, address, children, routines, travel or staffing arrangements attached to a public testimonial.

That is why we do not treat a missing review wall as a marketing problem to solve with anonymous quotes. If we cannot verify who said something and that we have permission to publish it, we do not present it as client evidence. We also do not name public figures or well-known households to imply an endorsement.

Instead, we make the agency-side process inspectable. The household can see how a staffing brief is defined, how candidate introductions fit into the journey, what FDS says about references and checks, which responsibilities remain with the household, how the fee structure works and where post-placement support sits.

The current client terms reinforce that approach by treating client, candidate and temporary-worker information as confidential except where disclosure is required or appropriately consented. Controlled sharing for an agreed candidate introduction is different from turning the household into a public case study.

How to evaluate Filipino Domestic Services before making an enquiry.

Use evidence you can inspect yourself rather than relying on a star rating.

  1. Compare the role pages.Check whether the duties you need belong with a nanny, housekeeper, nanny-housekeeper or another role.
  2. Read the matching process.Understand what happens before an introduction, interview and offer.
  3. Read the vetting page.Separate agency checks from the checks the household remains responsible for completing.
  4. Review fees and current terms.Understand the commercial arrangement before engaging a candidate.
  5. Interview the candidate yourself.Assess experience, judgement, expectations and practical fit against the actual household brief.
  6. Confirm the employment arrangement.Use the employer guide for the checks, written terms and payroll responsibilities that follow a direct hire.

Questions about reviews, outcomes and discretion.

Why does Filipino Domestic Services not show lots of named client reviews?

Private household staffing can involve sensitive information, and some clients are high-profile. FDS does not identify households or publish client stories simply to create social proof. A testimonial should only be published when its source is verifiable and the client has agreed to public use.

Does limited public feedback mean clients have not given FDS feedback?

Not necessarily. Private feedback and public endorsement are different things. FDS does not present private correspondence or unattributed comments as public reviews unless the source and permission to publish are clear.

Does FDS work with celebrity or high-profile clients?

FDS works with private households, including high-profile clients, and offers a dedicated VIP and celebrity nanny service. Client identities are not used as public social proof, and individual households are not named without appropriate permission.

Can I ask FDS for a previous client's name or reference?

You can ask what evidence is available, but FDS will not promise access to a previous client or disclose a household's identity without appropriate consent. Review the process, current terms and candidate evidence you can inspect directly.

How can I judge FDS without a large Trustpilot or Google review profile?

Inspect the matching process, vetting boundaries, current fees and terms, post-placement support and the quality of the candidates introduced for your actual brief. Then complete your own interviews, references and employer checks before deciding whom to hire.

Will FDS publish an anonymous testimonial?

Only where the underlying source is genuine, verifiable and appropriately consented. FDS does not use invented anonymous praise, unverified review excerpts or confidential household information as a substitute for attributable evidence.
