Permanent placement fee 15% of the agreed gross annual salary, subject to a minimum agency fee of £2,000 under the current client terms.

Two pricing models. The key difference is who employs the worker.

If you do not want to employ the staff member directly, look at the agency-supplied temporary worker route. It is charged differently from a permanent direct placement.

Direct placement

The household employs the candidate.

For a permanent direct placement, the agency fee is 15% of the agreed gross annual salary, with a minimum fee of £2,000. The household then pays the worker and takes responsibility for the contract, payroll and applicable employment obligations.

Agency-supplied temporary worker

FDS supplies the worker for the assignment.

The client pays FDS an hourly charge rather than employing the worker directly. Current published starting rates range from £21/hour to £30/hour depending on role. Under the current client terms, FDS pays the temporary worker and, where appropriate, accounts for income tax and National Insurance. The final hourly charge and any agreed travel or other expenses are confirmed before the assignment.

These are different contractual routes. The client terms issued for the instruction and the written assignment or placement terms control the final charge and responsibilities. Read the current Terms and Conditions.

Agency-supplied hourly pricing

Current starting rates when FDS supplies the staff member.

These are client charges for the agency-supplied hourly route, not the worker’s wage and not the direct-placement agency fee. The final hourly charge and any agreed travel or other expenses are confirmed before the assignment.

Choose this route when you do not want to employ the staff member directly. Availability depends on the role, location, schedule and brief, and FDS confirms the applicable assignment terms in writing before work begins. Read the current Terms and Conditions.

How much is a permanent placement?

The current permanent-placement agency fee is calculated at 15% of the candidate’s agreed gross annual salary, with a minimum fee of £2,000.

This is the agency’s introduction fee. It does not include the candidate’s salary, payroll deductions, pension contributions, insurance, travel expenses or other costs arising from the household’s employment arrangement.

The client terms supplied for an instruction remain the controlling document if they differ from this summary.

Agency pricing is separate from candidate pay.

The household agrees salary or wages with the chosen candidate and is responsible for the employment costs that follow.

Payment timing

Plan for the invoice before the candidate starts.

Under the current client terms, the agency fee is payable within seven working days of the invoice or by 5pm on the day before the candidate’s start date, whichever is sooner. The invoice must be settled before the engagement begins.

Offer accepted Notify Filipino Domestic Services immediately when an introduced candidate accepts an offer or engagement.
Invoice issued The invoice reflects the applicable placement terms and the agreed salary or other fee basis.
Payment deadline Pay by the earlier deadline stated in the current client terms and invoice.
Before the start date Do not assume the candidate can begin while the introduction fee remains unpaid.

Trials, cancellations and replacement provisions have conditions.

Read the client terms before requesting a trial, making an offer or changing a confirmed start date.

Trial periods

Agree the trial before an offer is made.

The current terms require prior agreement, the applicable trial fee and full candidate wages for the trial period before it begins.

Cancellation after offer

Cancellation charges increase closer to the start date.

The current terms state 25% of the agency fee with more than 14 days’ notice, 50% with 7 to 14 days’ notice and 100% with less than 7 days’ notice.

Replacement provision

Eligibility depends on the original terms and circumstances.

The current terms describe one replacement candidate where the original candidate does not start or leaves within six months, subject to stated conditions.

Refund framework

Any partial refund is conditional.

The client terms set out timing, notification and eligibility requirements. Do not rely on a general summary when making a cancellation or refund decision.
